Georgia Tech continues its busy week with a Thursday night tilt against Florida State at home. The Yellow Jackets are facing a quick turnaround, coming off a Tuesday night rescheduled contest at Pitt in which the Jackets took home a 63-52 victory. Three finished in double-figures with Lotta-Maj Lahtinen leading all scorers with 17 points. Digna Strautmane followed with 16 points, hitting 4-of-6 from three-point range.
Florida State snapped a four-game skid with a strong victory against Wake Forest in its last outing. After falling to the Demon Deacons in overtime in December, the Seminoles rebounded with an 87-46 triumph in Tallahassee. Morgan Jones leads the way for FSU, averaging 14.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. In conference play, three Seminoles are posting double-figure numbers with Jones averaging 16.0 points per game, followed by Bianca Jackson with 12.0 and Makayla Timpson at 10.0.
Florida State narrowly holds the lead in the all-time series between the squads, 27-24, but Georgia Tech has taken the last four meetings, including the last two in Atlanta.
