Volleyball Standout Pachale Shares ACC Player of the Week Honors

Georgia Tech’s Maja Pachale earned Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Player of the Week honors after helping the Yellow Jackets to a perfect 2-0 record last week. On the week, Pachale recorded 5.75 kills per game, 3.13 digs per game and a .450 hitting percentage. The senior outside hitter from Schwerin, Germany, led the Yellow Jackets (16-6, 10-4) to wins over North Carolina and NC State. Pachale recorded a milestone against NC State when she tallied her 1,750 kill to surpass Cris Omiecinski for the all-time career kill list record at Georgia Tech. This was the third time this season that Pachale has earned ACC Player of the Week honors.

Wake Forest’s middle blocker Margaret Davidson shared the player of the week honor with Pachale after helping the Demon Deacons to three conference victories.
