Volleyball Standout Pachale Earns All-District Honors

ATLANTA (Dec. 13) – Georgia Tech volleyball standout Maja Pachale (Schwerin, Germany) garnered all-district honors for the 1999 season, announced by the American Volleyball Collegiate Association. A first-team all-Atlantic Coast Conference selection, Pachale established a new school record for kills in a season with 524, surpassing Cris Omiecinski’s 1993 standard of 517. The sophomore outside hitter, who helped Tech to a 17-14 record, is just the sixth Yellow Jacket to be named all-district.
