THE FLATS – Georgia Tech track & field continues their outdoor season with their first meet away from The Flats on the season. The team will be at the Raleigh Relays and the Florida State Relays starting on Thursday.
Tech comes off hosting the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Invitational which saw many top performances including a personal best in the 1500m from Zach Jaeger who earned ACC Men’s Co-Track Performer of the Week. Jaeger will be competing in Raleigh this weekend in the 500om.
Also competing in Raleigh will be Nicole Fegans. She will partake in the 10,000m, a race she was the ACC champion in last year.
Much of the team will be at Florida State. We will see the high jumping trio of Shanty Papakosta, Carla Du Plessis and Camille Trotman who finished first through third in the event this past weekend.
The Jackets will feature prominently in the women’s 200 meters, women’s 100 meters and 1500 meters on both sides, featuring 11, seven, six and 12 athletes slated to compete, respectively, in each event.
