6th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships
THE FLATS – While freshmen are adjusting to their first week of classes on campus this week at Georgia Tech, swimming & diving incoming freshman Caio Pumputis will be competing for his home country of Brazil (CBDA) at the 6th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships from Aug. 23-28 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Pumputis will compete in one event all six days of the championship meet this week. Below is the schedule of events in which he will compete in this week.
Wednesday, Aug. 23
100 breaststroke – Prelims: 9:30 a.m./ Semifinals and Finals: 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 24
200 IM – Prelims: 9:30 a.m./Semifinals and Finals: 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 26
200 breaststroke – Prelims: 9:30 a.m./ Semifinals and Finals: 6:00 p.m.
800 free relay – Prelims: 9:30 a.m./ Semifinals and Finals: 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 27
400 IM – Prelims: 9:30 a.m./ Semifinals and Finals: 6:00 p.m.
Monday, Aug. 28
400 medley relay – Prelims: 9:30 a.m./ Semifinals and Finals: 6:00 p.m.
