Tech-UNC Game Set for Noon Start on ESPN

Sept. 18, 2011

ATLANTA – The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced that the Georgia Tech – North Carolina game on Saturday, Sept. 24, will kickoff at 12 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium and be carried live on ESPN. The game time was not previously announced because ESPN/ABC had declared a six-day option to decide times on three ACC matchups.

Georgia Tech is coming off a 66-24 victory over Big 12 foe Kansas on Saturday, a game in which the Yellow Jackets broke school records for most rushing yards (604) and most total offense (768). Tech’s 12.1 yards per carry also broke an NCAA record, previously set by Alabama in 1973 (11.9 vs. Virginia Tech).

At 3-0, the Jackets are off to their best start since the 2005 season.
