LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Despite taking the first two games in the series, No. 10 Georgia Tech baseball was unable to sweep Clean Old-Fashioned Hate, falling 12-3 on Sunday afternoon at Coolray Field.

The Yellow Jackets (10-2) were able to amass seven hits on the day, but were unable to get the big hit when they needed it, leaving the bases loaded in three-straight innings and getting just one run out of it.

Kevin Parada continued his hot hitting of late, finishing 3-for-5 at the plate with an RBI. Chandler Simpson and Stephen Reid also chipped in hits with Reid having a single and the solo homer to left center in the fourth.

On the mound, Tech used six pitchers on the day. Starter RHP Marquis Grissom, Jr. (1-2) received the loss as he was unable to go further than two innings, allowing one run on two hits, but walking three.

The Bulldogs (9-2) were led by Parks Harber, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI. LHP Luke Wagner (4-0) got the win, pitching 2.0 innings in relief and allowing just the solo home run to Reid.

The Yellow Jackets remain on the road briefly by traveling to Mercer on Wednesday, March 9. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast live on WREK 91.1 FM. They then return home on March 11-13 for the opening ACC series against Virginia Tech.
