THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis starts a North Carolina road swing this weekend against Duke and UNC.
The Yellow Jackets are coming off a three-game winning streak. Tech beat Virginia Tech, Clemson and Boston College in the first outdoor dual matches of the season.
The Yellow Jackets feature the No. 7 doubles pairing in Andres Martin and Marcus McDaniel and the No. 30 singles players in Martin.
UNC is currently ranked No. 16 while Duke is ranked No. 19. UNC has two ranked doubles teams in No. 5 Cernoch/Kiger and No. 67 Kania/Zapp while also having the No. 28 singles player in Cernoch. Duke possesses one ranked singles player in No. 64 Garrett Johns.
Following this weekend, the White and Gold will face N.C. State and Wake Forest next weekend on the road.
