Tech Dig for the Cure Jerseys Up for Auction

Oct. 6, 2008

Reminder: Jam the Gym this Friday night vs. Duke

ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech volleyball team is auctioning off their pink jerseys from last Friday’s Dig for the Cure match online at Ramblinwreck.com, with all proceeds from the auction going to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.

Fans can bid on any of 12 jerseys worn by the Yellow Jackets by visiting the “Fanzone” on Ramblinwreck.com and going to “Auctions.” The auction will end Monday, Oct. 13, at 5 p.m. ET.

The Yellow Jackets defeated Florida State, 3-0, and recorded 45 digs to help raise nearly $1,500 for breast cancer research, and are auctioning off the jerseys worn in the match against the Seminoles with hopes of reaching their goal.

During its first two years of participating in the event, Georgia Tech raised more than $13,000 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
