THE FLATS – Georgia Tech athletics announced on Friday Matt Amos has joined the Yellow Jackets as senior associate athletics director for external operations/chief marketing officer, while Reggie McIntyre was promoted to executive associate athletics director for revenue generation/chief revenue officer and Christina Clausen was elevated to associate athletics director for development operations.
“Fan experience, revenue generation and fundraising are top priorities for Georgia Tech athletics as we look to continue to build on our momentum and consistently compete for championships at the highest levels of college athletics,” vice president and director of athletics Ryan Alpert said. “With the expertise and ability that these outstanding individuals bring to their important roles, they will help us achieve our goal of providing Georgia Tech student-athletes and fans with world-class experiences.”
Amos arrives on The Flats after a five-year stint at Auburn University, where he most recently served as assistant athletic director of fan experience. In his role, Amos had direct oversight of the gameday experience for Auburn football, where he helped set program highs in attendance and revenue, including an 11 percent growth in total ticket revenue from the 2022 to 2023 season. By creating a compelling and engaging fan environment, Auburn football also set a program record for 22 consecutive sellouts during Amos’ oversight.
While on The Plains, Amos also worked directly with Auburn men’s basketball, baseball and gymnastics. Amos was paramount in continuing the 85-game sellout streak in Neville Arena for men’s basketball and helped record the highest revenue generated in program history during the 2024-25 season. Additionally, he developed and implemented plans for high-level events including SEC Championships and Final Fours. During Amos’ tenure, baseball experienced the most season tickets sold in program history in the 2023 season, while setting the highest baseball revenue produced surpassing half a million.
Gymnastics saw similar success under Amos’s tenure, selling out season tickets and every meet during the 2021 season, while increasing overall ticket revenue by an astounding 60 percent. Women’s basketball set a non-conference single game attendance record of just under 6,000 fans.
Amos started at Auburn as an assistant director of marketing and fan experience in 2021 before being elevated to director of fan experience in 2023, a position he held until his most recent promotion in 2025. He got his start in athletics at Ohio State where he served as assistant director of athletics marketing and fan experience from 2019-20. Amos received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from James Madison University in 2017 and a master’s degree in sports administration from Eastern Michigan University in 2019.
“I am thrilled to join the team at Georgia Tech, a place rich in tradition and poised for an exciting future,” Amos said. “I look forward to working alongside this outstanding team to create preeminent experiences for our fans and student-athletes while embracing innovation, finding new ways to connect with our fans, enhancing the gameday experience and building on the incredible momentum on The Flats.
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Ryan Alpert and Brent Jones for the opportunity to join Georgia Tech Athletics and be part of the exciting vision for its future. I cannot wait to get to work on The Flats.”
A member of Georgia Tech’s athletics staff since 2023, McIntyre was promoted to executive associate athletics director and chief revenue officer in July 2026. In his elevated role, McIntyre will oversee athletics’ comprehensive revenue strategy, while leading the department’s efforts in ticket sales, ticket operations, data analytics, corporate partnerships, multimedia rights, third-party events, new business development and outside events, including concerts and other major entertainment programming. Working collaboratively across the athletics department, he drives sustainable revenue growth, enhances the fan experience and develops innovative business opportunities that support the long-term success of Georgia Tech Athletics.
McIntyre started his tenure on The Flats as assistant athletics director for marketing and fan experience, leading one of the most successful periods of growth in Georgia Tech athletics history. During the 2025-26 academic year, Tech saw department records for revenue and surpassed its goal with 57 sellout events across multiple sports and special events. Georgia Tech also became the only Atlantic Coast Conference program to average at least 85% venue capacity in football, volleyball, baseball and softball during the 2025-26 season.
Clausen joined Georgia Tech’s athletics staff in 2019 and was elevated to associate athletics director for development operations in July 2026. In the newly appointed role, Clausen will oversee day-to-day operations, implementation and maintenance of software services, events and collaboration with other campus unites and partners (most notably, the Alumni Association and the Georgia Tech Foundation).
During her seven-plus years in service at Georgia Tech, Clausen has served in a number of roles in both ticket operations and fundraising. In 2021, Clausen joined the Alexander-Tharpe Fund and most recently served as the director of annual giving. In that role, Clausen was instrumental in raising the Athletic Scholarship Fund, the athletics’ annual fund, from a $2 million annual fund to a $6 million annual fund through innovative initiatives that sparked increased donor participation.
Additionally, Bailey White has been promoted to assistant athletics director for marketing and fan experience. In her role, she will oversee Georgia Tech’s marketing and fan experience department and serve as the primary marketing and fan experience contact for Georgia Tech football. She will lead the strategy and execution of football marketing, promotions, fan engagement and gameday initiatives, while providing leadership and direction across her department. White joined Georgia Tech in March 2023 as director of marketing and fan experience.
