THE FLATS — Tailgate Guys, which offers a unique and exclusive pre-game tailgating experience, enters their second season providing reserved packages for home Georgia Tech football games.
From April 20 through May 8, all Georgia Tech season ticket holders and existing Tailgate Guys guests can reserve pre-game tailgate packages for the 2015 football season. Beginning May 11, any remaining tailgate packages will be available for reservation to new guests. For more information on the packages available, visit www.tailgateguys.com.
“Our new tailgate village was a success on all fronts in the inaugural season, with our participating fans thoroughly enjoying the VIP service delivered,” said Rick Thorpe, Georgia Tech Associate AD for Sales & Fan Experience. “With the building excitement surrounding this year’s team and a stellar home schedule, we anticipate solid growth in year two.”
The Tailgate Guys program sold out at Georgia Tech last year for three out of six games. Due to this demand and expected growth, they will be expanding into a larger footprint to accommodate the traction gained in year one.
With the expectation of continued growth for the 2015 season, all tailgate locations will be moved to Tech Green, which will help maintain the natural landscape on the Georgia Tech campus.
