Jill Jameson joined the Georgia Tech volleyball staff in June 2017 as the director of operations.
Jameson arrived on The Flats in November 2016 as the administrative coordinator for women’s basketball before transitioning into her role with the volleyball team.
Jameson brought over two decades of experience in collegiate coaching and operations to The Flats. She came to Tech after spending five years as Director of Basketball Operations at Wisconsin where she oversaw all administrative aspects of the women’s basketball program including the budget, game scheduling and daily logistics of the program.
Prior to Wisconsin, Jameson spent seven years at Virginia Tech in the same role. While with the Hokies, Jameson provided support in the overall day-to-day operations of women’s basketball. Jameson spent nearly 10 years as an assistant women’s basketball coach before turning to the operations side. She began her coaching career at Virginia Tech while also holding stints at Francis Marion, University of Tennessee Chattanooga and Marquette where she helped lead programs to conference championships and NCAA tournaments.
As a player, Jameson competed in Australia and Macedonia as a part of the Athletes in Action organization before serving as a coach for AIA in both Macedonia and Mexico.
Jameson earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Northern Iowa, where she was a student-athlete on the women’s basketball team, and a Master of Science in Education from Virginia Tech.
