Spring Football Practice #10

ATLANTA — Georgia Tech completed its 10 of 15 spring practices Wednesday with a two-hour session in full pads at Rose Bowl Fields.

On the injury front, the Yellow Jackets received some news good and bad. Sophomore quarterback Josh Nesbitt returned to action after sitting out the previous two practices with a sore groin. Junior A-back Greg Smith, meanwhile, will miss the rest of spring drills with a collarbone injury.

Tech will practice four more times, including Friday (4 p.m.) and Saturday (9 a.m.), before the April 19 T-Day Game.

– Sophomore defensive back Dominique Reese sat out most of today’s practice with an injury.
– Senior A.J. Smith (elbow) is hopeful of returning to practice this week.
– Walk-on reserve quarterback Jim Henry tried his hand at slotback at today’s practice.
