- Made his collegiate debut at the 5k Stan Sims Cross Country opener, posting a time of 16:07.65.

- Chose to attend Tech because of the love and support from the coaches and team

- Began running in the sixth grade just to be involved in something outside of the classroom and stuck with it ever since
