As A Senior In 2009-10: Finished her career at the ACC Championships with season best performances taking 18th in the 200-Back finishing in 2:00.73, 19th in the 100-Back with a time of 55.86 and 29th in the 200-IM with a time of 2:05.63 … Earned two second place finishes in the 100 and 200-Back vs. Emory with times of 57.95 and 2:06.56 respectively … Took second in the 100-Back vs. NC State touching the wall in 58.42 … Started the season off with a third place finish in the 100-Back with a time of 59.05.

As A Junior In 2008-09: Set two individual school records in the 200-back (1:58.48) and 100-back (54.73) at the ACC Championships, placing 12th and 13th respectively in the conference … Registered a NCAA “B” cut in the 100 back at the ACC Championships… Part of the 400-medley relay team which set a school record at the ACC Championships (3:42.17) and placed eighth in the league … Set a career-high with a 25.58 in the 50-free against Emory … Recorded a season-best 27.43 in the 50-back against Emory… Swam a career-best and second-best time on the team for the season in the 200 IM (2:05.46) at the ACC Championships.

As A Sophomore In 2007-08: Swam the first leg of the school-record setting 400-medley relay that finished seventh in the ACC in a time of 3:47.39 … Set a new personal best in the 100-free with a time of 55.32 at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Registered the team’s best time in the 100-back with a career-high 57.29, as well as the 50-back in the top time of 26.71 … Was second on the squad after a career-best time of 2:04.47 in the 200-back at the ACC Championships … Finished the 200-IM at the ACC Championships in 2:09.52, a new career-high and third-best on the team for the season.

As a Freshman in 2006-07: Swam the first leg of the 400 medley relay team that set a team-best time of 3:54.00 at the Georgia Fall Invitational … Posted a personal-best time of 59.12 in the 100 back at the Georgia Fall Invitational … Set her second lifetime-best time on the season with a time of 2:07.84 in the 200 back competition at the Georgia Fall Invitational … Swam a time of 28.00 in the 50 back at the Georgia Invite … Clocked a time of 2:11.88 at the ACC meet in the 200 IM competition … Finished the season second on the team in the 50 back, 100 back, 200 back, and 200 IM events.

Personal: Born Ryann Margaret Kopacka on June 24, 1988, in Roswell, Ga. … Parents are Gary and Jeanne Kopacka … Has an older sister, Taylor, and a younger brother, Ben … Taylor is a Biomedical Engineer senior at Georgia Tech, and Ben is a freshman football player at the Air Force Academy majoring in Civil Engineering … Father ran cross country and track at the Air Force Academy (1974, 75-77) … Enjoys traveling, wake boarding, Ultimate Frisbee, and taking pictures … Majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
