THE FLATS – Each game of Georgia Tech softball’s upcoming weekend conference series against No. 3 Florida State at Mewborn Field has sold out of stadium seating and is down to very limited standing room only tickets.
The Yellow Jackets (15-5, 0-3 ACC) and Seminoles (19-1, 2-1 ACC) will square off on Friday at 5 p.m., again on Saturday at 2 p.m. and wrap up the series with the finale at 1 p.m. on Sunday, all at Mewborn Field.
Standing room only tickets are $2 each and available HERE. Georgia Tech students and faculty/staff can receive free admission to regular season home games while seats remain available by showing a valid BuzzCard at the entrance.
The first game of the series on Friday will be Space Day, including a “Storm Mewborn” t-shirt giveaway and activations provided by Tech’s aerospace engineering program. Game two on Saturday will be ATL Day, accompanied by an ATL themed raffle. The series finale on Sunday will be Youth Day, featuring a post-game catch session on the field.
Saturday’s matchup will be broadcast on ACC Network, while games one and three on Friday and Sunday will appear on ACC Network Extra.

Tech is off to a 15-5 start this season, the best for the program since opening the 2011 season 21-4. The White and Gold’s series against Florida State will be the second consecutive ranked conference weekend series on The Flats.
