CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The game between the Georgia Tech softball team and North Carolina has been cancelled due to weather in the area and poor field conditions. The game will not be made up.
The Jackets currently sit in fourth place in the ACC behind Florida State (42-11, 15-3 ACC) North Carolina (36-10, 11-3), and Virginia Tech (33-16, 10-6).
Tech will be back in action next weekend on Saturday, April 28 with its final regular season games of the 2012 season. Saturday will be Senior Day at Mewborn Field when the Jackets take on Virginia Tech starting at 1 p.m.
