THE FLATS — Week 2 of the NFL season did not disappoint as once again seven #ProJackets left their respective games with a win.
All of the former Yellow Jackets made an impact on the field in the second week, save for Chris Milton, who suffered an injury last week and was ruled out of action.
Morgan Burnett received his first start with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, going up against the Kansas City Chiefs and fellow alum Harrison Butker. Burnett finished the game with six combined tackles (three solo) in the game. Butker, however, would end up with the win, helping ice the game by going 6-for-6 on PATs in the 42-37 victory.
The Titans’ Derrick Morgan came up with four huge combined tackles in the close 20-17 win over the Texans. Meanwhile, Adam Gotsis helped the Denver Broncos out with two combined tackles, including helping on a blocked extra point attempt that would ultimately be the difference in the 20-19 win over the Raiders.
Damaryius Thomas also performed well in the Broncos’ victory, hauling in five passes for 18 yards in the grind-‘em-out contest.
