THE FLATS — The 102nd season of the National Football League is almost upon us and several former Yellow Jackets started the season strong in this week’s #ProJackets Football Report.
In Monday Night Football’s thrilling victory for the Las Vegas Raiders, tight end Darren Waller was targeted a career-high 19 times and hauled in 10 catches for 105 yards in the 33-27 overtime win. A dominant force the whole night – including catching a clutch touchdown that put two Raven defenders in the spin cycle – Vegas coach Jon Gruden called Waller ‘the best player I’ve ever coached.’
