THE FLATS — Week 12 of the 2021 NFL season saw several former Yellow Jackets had strong weeks in this edition of the #ProJackets Football Report.
Despite not being able to overcome the Atlanta Falcons, 21-14, Jacksonville’s Adam Gotsis had his best game since returning from injury, recording three tackles — two solo — and a tackle for loss. He now has 15 tackles on the season, 3.0 tackles for loss and five hits on the quarterback.
Shaq Mason’s New England Patriots have now won six-straight, downing Tennessee 36-13. With Mason on the offensive line, the Pats amassed 394 yards of offense, including 289 through the air.
Rookie punter Pressley Harvin III crossed the 2,000-yard mark, booming five punts against the Bengals. He now has 2,010 yards on the year over 46 punts in 11 games played, including 19 punts downed within the 20-yard line.
The Raiders won a Thanksgiving barnbuner last week, outlasting the Dallas Cowboys 36-33 in one of the most-watched NFL games of the past decade. The Cowboys were able to keep tight end Darren Waller relatively covered, but he was able to record two receptions for 33 yards, pushing him past the 600-yard mark on the year.
