  • The Jackets’ selection marks the fourth consecutive appearance in the AVCA’s top 10 after being tabbed No. 8 at the end of the 2021 season and landing among the best in each of the three polls in 2022.

  • Senior outside hitter Julia Bergmann has claimed the first two ACC Player of the Week awards this season. She earns this week’s recognition after another solid outing at the home-hosted GT Invitational.
  • The Brazilian bomber owns seven career ACC Player of the Week awards and nine total weekly ACC honors after picking up a pair of ACC Freshman of the Week titles during her first season on The Flats. Bergmann was named ACC Player of the Week four times last season, the most by any player in the conference since 2015.
  • The vaunted outside hitter garnered GT Invitational MVP honors after piling up 47 kills at a .392 clip, 23 digs, nine blocks (one solo, eight assisted) and five aces. With those numbers, she currently leads the nation in points per set (6.32) and is second in the country in kills per set (5.41).
  • Sophomore outside hitter Bianca Bertolino and senior middle blocker Erin Moss joined Bergmann on the GT Invitational all-tournament team.
