EUGENE, Ore. – Georgia Tech track & field stand out Nicole Fegans raced for the final time in White and Gold on Saturday when she raced in the 5000m at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. She placed 21st with a time of 16:05.64.
Fegans is the most decorated distance runner in the history of women’s cross country and track & field at Tech. Fegans has earned four All-American honors in track and another All-American honor in cross country. She has three ACC Championships to her name, five All-ACC track honors and three All-ACC cross country honors. Fegans holds the ACC Championship meet record in the 10k.
The record breaking distance runner owns nine school records for Yellow Jackets track & field. She holds the 1000m, Mile, 3000m, 5000m and DMR records on the indoor track and the 1500m, 5000m, 10k and 4x1500m records on the outdoor track.
