COLUMBUS, Ga. – After heavy rains continued in the area, the rest of the NFCA Leadoff Classic Softball Tournament was cancelled, announced by officials on Sunday morning. Georgia Tech (7-4) finished the tournament 1-1, falling to No. 7 Alabama, 3-2, and defeating Hofstra, 3-1, on Friday.
The Yellow Jackets will host Gardner-Webb on Tuesday at Glenn Field. The non-conference doubleheader will begin at 2 p.m. All Tech games can be followed via live stats on-line at www.ramblinwreck.com.
