TOP STORYLINES

• Georgia Tech opens the second half of its regular season on Saturday when it
hosts Boston College for homecoming at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field.

• Georgia Tech needs to win four of its final six games to achieve bowl eligibility for
the fourth-straight season.

• The Yellow Jackets are coming off a disappointing 34-24 loss last Saturday at
Virginia Tech. Behind a career-high 335 passing yards by Jr. QB Alberto Mendoza,
the Jackets averaged a season-best 7.3 yards per play and outgained the Hokies by
a 428-409 margin.

• However, Georgia Tech committed a season-high-tying two turnovers at VT, both
coming in the first half, which contributed to a 24-3 halftime deficit that the Jackets
couldn't overcome despite playing one of their strongest halves of the season in the
second half of Saturday's defeat.

• So. WR Jordan Allen has put together one of the best two-game stretches by
a receiver in Georgia Tech history with 10 receptions apiece against Duke (Oct.
10) and Virginia Tech (last Saturday). Allen is the first Yellow Jacket to ever haul in
double-digit receptions in consecutive games.

• Georgia Tech's defense produced a season-high five sacks at Virginia Tech, nearly
matching its season total (6) going into the game.

• Georgia Tech and Boston College are meeting for the 14th time in a series that
dates back to 1972. The Yellow Jackets lead the series, 8-5, and snapped a threegame
losing streak against the Eagles with a heart-stopping 36-34 victory on Nov.
15 of last season at BC.
