THE FLATS – An explosive fireworks show, powered by Georgia Power, highlights the halftime extravaganza that is planned for fans in attendance at Saturday’s Georgia Tech-Tennessee game at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field.
Georgia Tech athletics is partnering with Atlanta Special FX to put on the one-of-its-kind fireworks presentation, with one of college football’s most anticipated non-conference matchups of the year and the Atlanta skyline as its backdrop.
The fireworks display is part of a very special halftime show that also includes performances by the Tennessee and Georgia Tech marching bands.
Georgia Tech and Tennessee renew their century-old rivalry for only the second time in 39 years when they square off on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium. A very limited number of tickets remain for the matchup that is trending to be Georgia Tech’s fourth-straight sellout at Bobby Dodd Stadium, which would be its longest sellout streak since 1999.
