THE FLATS — Several Yellow Jackets had terrific weeks in the National Football League as they enter Week 8 on Sunday.
After missing several weeks due to an injury, kicker Harrison Butker played his second-straight week and helped the Chiefs dismantle the 49ers, 44-23. Butker was a perfect 6-for-6 on PATs. He also boomed seven kickoffs at an average 65.1 clip.
Pressley Harvin III continues to be one of the NFL’s top punters, booming six last week for 251 yards in the 16-10 setback for Pittsburgh against Miami.
Tight end Tyler Davis played 22 offensive snaps and 11 special teams snaps for Green Bay as the Packers lost a heartbreaker 23-21 to Washington. Davis recorded a tackle in the loss.
Texans rookie Jalen Camp was elevated from the practice squad to the 53-man roster ahead of Week 8’s matchup of Houston and the Titans. Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. eastern.
The Chargers also signed veteran #ProJacket Jeremiah Attaochu. The second-round selection in 2014 has logged 80 career games and made 23 starts with five teams (Chargers, Jets, Broncos, Bears and Ravens).
He has totaled 133 tackles, 20.5 sacks, 43 QB hits, 32 tackles for loss and four forced fumbles with a recovery.
Tight end Darren Waller remains questionable for the Raiders after missing Week 7 with a hamstring injury. After playing heavy snaps for Jacksonville the three previous weeks, defensive lineman Adam Gotsis will not dress for the second-straight week.
