Greensboro, N.C. – Georgia Tech’s Bartley Forrester and Christo Lamprecht have been named to the 2021-22 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Golf Team, announced Thursday by the conference office.
Forrester, a junior from Gainesville, Ga., and Lamprecht, a sophomore from George, South Africa, both major in business administration and made the ACC All-Academic team for the first time. Forrester, who has made the Dean’s List three times and earned Faculty Honors twice, posted a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall and a 3.07 in the spring and carries a career GPA of 3.37. Lamprecht, a two-time Dean’s List honoree, posted a 3.75 GPA each semester and carries a career mark of 3.56.
Forrester and Lamprecht also made the All-ACC golf team this spring and were named honorable mention All-Americans by the Golf Coaches Association of America, leading the Yellow Jackets to five tournament victories, a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Championship and a final national ranking of No. 10 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Index and No. 11 in Golfstat.
Lamprecht finished the spring ranked No. 27 nationally by both polls, the highest ranking of any Tech player, while Forrester finished No. 69 by Golfstat and No. 81 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Index. Lamprecht posted six top-10 finishes in 12 tournaments, and Forrester had four, including a victory at The Calusa Cup.
