Coming off its second ACC road victory at Syracuse, Georgia Tech looks to pick up its 10th home win of the season on Sunday. Four Yellow Jackets finished with double-figure scoring numbers in Syracuse, paced by a career-high 21 points from Nerea Hermosa. Eylia Love saw her first career double-double performance with 10 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, while Digna Strautmane nearly missed a double-double with 10 rebounds and nine points.
North Carolina comes into Sunday’s matinee having split its last four outings, most recently, picking up a win against Virginia at home. The Tar Heels opened the season winning its first 13 games before NC State snapped the win streak, collecting a 72-45 triumph. Deja Kelly leads UNC offensively, averaging 17.9 points per game and ranks third in the conference in scoring. Alyssa Ustby follows with 13.6 points per game and a team-best 8.6 rebounds per game average.
Georgia Tech looks to pick up its first win over North Carolina since 2018 and snap a four-game skid against the Tar Heels when the programs meet for the 81st time in program history on Sunday. UNC leads the all-time series, 60-20.
