First-Week Season-Ticket Sales Nearly Doubles ‘18

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech sold 91 percent more football season tickets last week than it did the first week that season tickets were available in 2018.

Sales were robust throughout the first week that 2019 season tickets were available, which began last Monday. Tech fans purchased 81 percent more season tickets last Monday than they did on the first day that tickets were available in 2018 and year-over-year sales continued to increase throughout the week.

New season-ticket members made up more than 20 percent of last week’s buyers. There are already more than 50 percent more new season-ticket members in 2019 than there were for the entire 2018 season.

Georgia Tech’s seven-game 2019 home schedule includes Juanyeh Thomas and the Yellow Jackets hosting archrival Georgia in the regular-season finale on Nov. 30. 

 

The surge in season-ticket sales can be attributed to excitement surrounding the new head coach Geoff Collins and the great value of 2019 season tickets (tickets for seven home games – including the regular-season finale vs. archrival Georgia – beginning at just $219).

Returning members who renew their season tickets through this Friday (Feb. 8) will receive a $25 Loyalty Discount for each season ticket purchased at full price.
