Miller Leads Jackets on Final Day of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Sophomore Jerome Miller tallied a third-place finish in the men’s high jump championship event with a NCAA Region qualifying mark of 6 feet, 10 ¾ inches, to lead the Georgia Tech men’s and women’s track and field teams at the Penn Relays on Saturday.

Senior Nico Shaner posted an 11th-place finish in the men’s college javelin throw with a mark of 189 feet, 6 inches, to pace the Yellow Jackets.

The men’s and women’s track and field teams will travel to Clemson, S.C., for the Orange & Purple Classic next Saturday, May 6.
