McAdoo Takes Match at Riviera/ITA All-American

PACIFIC PALISADES, CALIF. – On day two of qualifying singles action, senior Rasheeda McAdoo captured her match in the backdraw. Junior Paige Hourigan will take to the court for the first time in the main draw on Thursday.

Capturing a Victory
Competing in the backdraw of qualifying singles, McAdoo downed Tea Jandric of Ole Miss in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0. The win marked McAdoo’s sixth singles victory of the season.

Hourigan takes to the court for the first time in the Riviera/ITA All-American as the main draws were announced tonight. Hourigan, preseason ranked No. 23, will be one of the first matches to play as the Yellow Jacket will take on North Carolina’s Hayley Carter at 2:45 p.m. ET. Carter is the preseason favorite topping the ITA rankings at No. 1 and is seeded No. 1 in the tournament.
