Marcelle Concludes Shot Put Sequence on Day One of NCAA Championships

Junior Steve Marcelle placed 14th in the shot put at the 2009 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships Friday in College Station, Texas.

The Green Bay, Wisc. native, posted a mark of 56’4.75″ in the last field event of the day at the McFerrin Athletic Center.

Junior Alphonso Jordan, Tech’s other representative at the Championships, will compete in the triple jump Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Complete results will be available at www.flashresults.com.
