Lee and Sharabura earned berths to the tournament by strong finishes in the ITA Southeast Regionals. Lee reached the finals of the singles draw, while the doubles team captured the regional title two weeks ago.

This fall season, Lee has posted a 6-3 singles record competing in two tournaments: ITA All-American Championships and ITA Southeast Regionals, reaching the title match of regionals. With doubles partner, Sharabura, the pair own a 5-0 record after claiming the regionals doubles title. In the ITA preseason rankings, Lee comes in at No. 16 in singles, while Lee and Sharabura are ranked No. 1 in the country.

The single elimination tournament will be played best of three sets, with players playing a full third set to decide the match. In doubles, play will also be a best of three set format, with the third set being a ten point tiebreaker to decide the winner.

Alexander-Tharpe Fund

Competitive Drive Initiative

In a unified endeavor, Georgia Tech, the Georgia Tech Foundation, Georgia Tech athletics and the Alexander-Tharpe Fund have come together to accelerate funding for student-athlete scholarships with the launch of the Competitive Drive Initiative. The initiative kicks off with the Accelerate GT Match Program, where any new gift to the A-T Fund’s Athletic Scholarship Fund made through Dec. 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Georgia Tech Foundation, up to $2.5 million. Should Accelerate GT reach its $2.5 million fundraising goal, the matching gift would result in a $5 million impact for Georgia Tech athletics.
