Jackets Ready for Atlanta Open

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech junior Andres Martin will represent the White and Gold in the 2022 Atlanta Open, receiving a main draw singles wildcard to play on College Night, Tuesday, July 26 at 7 p.m. Additionally, letterwinner Chris Eubanks will compete in qualifying to vie for a spot in the main draw.

This will be the second appearance for Martin in the ATP 250 professional event as the Flowery Branch, Ga., native earned a doubles wild card last year with teammate Keshav Chopra. It will be his first appearance in the singles main draw.

The Yellow Jackets have historically represented well in the tournament’s College Night as former standouts Cole Gromley, Michael Kay and Eubanks have taken part in the annual tradition.

Eubanks, who competed on College Night in 2017, will compete for a spot in the main draw in qualifying action beginning on Saturday. He will face Jack Draper in opening round action at 3 p.m.

Tickets for the 2022 Atlanta Open, played at Atlantic Station, are on sale now and can be purchased online by visiting the tournament’s website.
