TOP STORYLINES
• In the midst of an eight-game homestand, Georgia Tech baseball hosts another key Coastal Division matchup against Duke on April 22-24.
• The Yellow Jackets own a 99-40 advantage in the all-time series, including 52-17 at home. Tech has won the last three series against the Blue Devils.
• Georgia Tech is coming off back-to-back series wins over then-No. 13 Florida State and on the road against North Carolina.
• The Jackets have been unstoppable now fully healthy as one of the nation’s top offenses, currently ranking No. 3 overall with 453 hits on the year.
• Tech also ranks third in average (.325) and runs (368), fourth in home runs (73), fifth in slugging (.551), seventh in on-base percentage (.424) and 13th in walks (204).
• In back-to-back weeks, Georgia Tech has had both a National Player of the Week and the ACC Player fo the Week (Kevin Parada and Tim Borden II).
• Parada currently leads or co-leads the nation in home runs (18), RBI (62) and total bases (125). He also ranks seventh in hits (62), seventh in runs (50) and 13th in slugging (.772).
• Borden mashed four home runs over nine hits last week to be the newest National/ACC Player of the Week. He’s raised his average to .344 on the year with 11 homers.
