ATLANTA – In recognition of the 999 career wins by head baseball coach Danny Hall, and his quest to achieve the 1,000-win milestone, Georgia Tech is offering a $9.99 ticket special for Friday night’s game versus Virginia Tech at Russ Chandler Stadium.
The $9.99 special, which applies to bench seating walk-up sales only on Friday, gets you a game ticket, along with a voucher for a free popcorn and soda. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. and the gates open at 4:30 p.m.
Coach Hall is among the winningest coaches in college baseball in history, with a career record of 999-471-1 in this, his 25th season. He’s spent the last 18 years on the Flats, compiling a school-record 791-354-1 record, guiding the Yellow Jackets to three College World Series appearances, and the NCAA Regionals 16 times.
The Yellow Jackets are planning “Danny Hall Night” at the ballpark on Saturday, April 7 versus Florida State. Further details will be announced at a later date.
