GREENSBORO, N.C. – Georgia Tech baseball earned 17 selections to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s 2023 All-ACC Academic Team, the league announced Wednesday.
Requirements for selection to the All-ACC Baseball Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, position players must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests and pitchers in 20 percent.

Compton is earning the recognition for the second time in his career while the others earned their first honors. The 17 selections mark the fourth-straight year that baseball has garnered five or more members to the team after no team was named in 2020.
The banner year for Georgia Tech baseball in the classroom continues after DeLeo, Dispigna and Giesler earned CSC Academic All-America honors earlier this month. In addition to those three, King and Rubenstein also garnered CSC Academic All-District selections in May.
