THE FLATS – Hosting its final regular season home game, No. 16 Georgia Tech women’s basketball welcomes Miami on Sunday for a 2 p.m. matinee. The game will serve as Tech’s Senior Day as it will honor seniors Sarah Bates, Lotta-Maj Lahtinen and Digna Strautmane prior to tipoff. Tip is slated for 2 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.

Playing its final regular season home game of the 2021-22 season, Georgia Tech looks to conclude the regular season with a victory. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a tough overtime loss against Notre Dame last Thursday. Three finished in double-figures, fueled by Lotta-Maj Lahtinen with 24 points. Lorela Cubaj notched her 11th double-double of the season behind 15 rebounds and 10 points.
Miami comes into the contest winners of three straight, most recently edging Pitt in Coral Gables, 60-50. Kelsey Marshall leads the Hurricanes offensively, averaging 13.8 points per game. Lola Pendande leads on the glass, securing 5.2 rebounds per game.
Miami took the first meeting this season against Georgia Tech, 46-45, to claim the slight edge in the all-time series history, 18-17. Tech has won two of the past three outings against the Hurricanes, and four of the past seven. When competing in Atlanta, Georgia Tech leads the series, 8-4.
