• Georgia Tech baseball looks to remain hot as it concludes its 2023 road schedule at Mercer on Tuesday, May 16.
• Tech is coming off a huge road ACC series win over then-No. 10 Duke on May 12-14, having now won nine of its last 12 games overall and five of its last seven ACC games.
• Georgia Tech looks to make a push in the RPI race, currently one of 17 teams nationally with 12+ top-50 RPI wins, ranking tied for fourth in the ACC in Q1 RPI wins.
• Tech’s bullpen was magnificent against the 10th-ranked Blue Devils this weekend, allowing just one earned run over 12.0 innings of work in the three games.
• Ben King turned in 6.0 innings on the weekend, getting a hold on Friday and the win on Sunday, allowing just three hits and a batting average of .136 against him.
• Slamming the door was Terry Busse, who worked a three-out save on Friday and a nine-out save on Sunday, while striking out a combined six over the weekend.
• Tech continues to mash at the plate, hitting .358 in their last 12 games, including 28 home runs.
• During that stretch, Angelo Dispigna (.463), Stephen Reid (.431) and Drew Compton (.405) have all hit .400 to lead the way.
