THE FLATS – Georgia Tech swimming and diving competed against Northwestern and Miami on Saturday. The men’s team lost 224-116 against Northwestern. The women lost 196-176 against Northwestern and 263-115 against Miami.
It was a busy week for the Yellow Jackets as they come off finals and graduation day on campus with some of the squad away at either Short Course Worlds or their national short course championships.
Diving saw great success at the pool with Camryn Hidalgo taking first in both the 1-meter (302.85) and 3-meter events (334.05). On top of the slew of podium finishes, three more zone qualifying scores were obtained by Carmen Woodruff, Kelsey Dekshenieks and Ruben Lechuga on the platform. They scored 257.78, 261.15 and 323.70, respectively.
