THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis concluded day one of the GT Fall Invite. The Jackets were able to secure three victories between singles and doubles play.
Robert Bauer and Elias Shokry secured the only doubles victory of the day for the Jackets. Bauer and Shokry dominated the match over The University of New Mexico’s Avery Tallakson and Aram Noroozian (8-2). Bauer also secured a win in singles play against Tallakson in straight sets (6-4,6-2).
Krish Arora secured a comeback win over Yale’s Aidan Reilly. After dropping the first set (2-6), Arora would win the second set 6-4. Arora would dominate the third set 6-2 and secure the victory.
The GT Fall Invite will resume tomorrow with doubles matches beginning at 10 a.m.
