Inside the Swarm: Newest NFL Yellow Jackets

May 14, 2014

Georgia Tech’s all-time sacks leader Jeremiah Attaochu highlighted a group of six members of the Yellow Jacket defense that were drafted or signed as free agents with NFL teams last weekend.

Attaochu was picked in second round Friday night by the San Diego, while teammates Jemea Thomas (New England, sixth round) and Brandon Watts (Minnesota, seventh round) were selected Saturday.

Following the draft, three other signed as free agents–defensive lineman Euclid Cummings (Tampa Bay), defensive end Emmanuel Dieke (New York Giants) and cornerback Louis Young (Denver).

Each week, Inside the Swarm will give fans an in-depth look at Georgia Tech’s football program and the upcoming 2014 season. The series will include coaches and student-athletes, as well an exclusive sneak peek at the depth chart.
