Howard Leads Jackets at Penn Relays on Day One

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Junior Chaunte Howard finished fourth in the women’s long jump with a mark of 19 feet, 4.75 inches, to lead the Georgia Tech track and field teams on Day One of competition at the 111th Penn Relays on Thursday night.

Sophomore Cristan Duvall clocked a time of 9:19.81 in the men’s 3,000-Steeplechase to finish in 13th place for the Yellow Jackets. Senior Kyle Rabbitt crossed the finish line in 13th place in the men’s 5,000 meters with a personal-record time of 14:30.07.

Senior Dore’ Madere finished the women’s discus with a mark of 130 feet, 6 inches, to log a 16th-place finish for the Jackets.
