Q: What time do parking lots open?

A: All on-campus parking areas open at 7 a.m.

 

Q: When does North Avenue close for Helluva Block Party?

A: North Avenue closes and Helluva Block Party setup begins six hours prior to kickoff (9:30 a.m. for Sept. 6 vs. Gardner-Webb).

 

Q: Where is North Avenue closed?

A: North Avenue is closed to traffic from Techwood Drive/Centennial Olympic Park Drive to Tech Parkway/Luckie Street for Helluva Block Party.

 

Q: What if my parking area is accessed via North Avenue?

A: Fans that park in parking areas along North Avenue will be able to park in their assigned area except for a one-hour period from six hours before kickoff until five hours before kickoff to allow for initial Helluva Block Party setup. Access to parking areas along North Avenue will be restricted from 9:30-10:30 a.m. for Sept. 6 vs. Gardner-Webb.

 

Q: Are there shuttles available to Helluva Block Party?

Q: What time does Helluva Block Party start and end?

A: Helluva Block Party starts four hours before kickoff (11:30 a.m. for Sept. 6 vs. Gardner-Webb) and ends 30 minutes before kickoff 3 p.m. for Sept. 6 vs. Gardner-Webb). A full timeline can be found HERE.

 

Q: Is food and beverage available at Helluva Block Party?

A: Yes. A variety of food truck and concession options are available for purchase at Helluva Block Party, including beer and wine.

 

Q: Is merchandise available at Helluva Block Party?

A: Yes. Merchandise is available for purchase at Helluva Block Party, near the concessions area.

 

Q: Can I tailgate at Helluva Block Party?

A: Revel XP offers full-service tailgates for rent on Tech Tower Lawn that will provide the ultimate game day tailgate experience!  More information can be found HERE.

There are a limited number of free public tailgating spots available on a first-come, first-served basis for fans that would like to set up personal tailgate parties at Helluva Block Party. Please note that you must bring your own tailgating supplies, and breakdown and return your tailgating items to your vehicle prior to entering the stadium. Tailgate parties within Helluva Block Party must be broken down beginning 30 minutes prior to kickoff (3 p.m. for Sept. 6 vs. Gardner-Webb).

 

Q: When and where does the team arrive?

A: Yellow Jacket Alley – Georgia Tech’s arrival to Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field – is a centerpiece of Helluva Block Party.

It begins two-and-a-half hours prior to kickoff (1 p.m. for Sept. 6 vs. Gardner-Webb).

Fans are encouraged to line the way along North Avenue between Cherry Street and Bobby Dodd Stadium’s Gate 1 to give the Jackets a raucous reception as they enter the stadium. The team’s buses arrive at the corner of North Avenue and Cherry Street and the team proceeds east on North Avenue before entering the stadium at Gate 1.

 

Q: When does the pregame concert start?

A: Immediately following Yellow Jacket Alley, the attention turns to the Helluva Block Party stage for the pregame concert, featuring LOCASH on Sept. 6 vs. Gardner-Webb.

Following its show, LOCASH will turn it over to the Georgia Tech Marching Band for its traditional pregame show.

 

Q: When do the Georgia Tech Marching Band and Spirit Squads perform at Helluva Block Party?

A: The Georgia Tech Marching Band and Spirit Squads, including Buzz, welcome the Jackets as they arrive for Yellow Jacket Alley two-and-a-half hours prior to kickoff (1 p.m. for Sept. 6 vs. Gardner-Webb).

The marching band returns to Helluva Block Party for its traditional pregame performance 45 minutes prior to kickoff (2:45 p.m. for Sept. 6 vs. Gardner-Webb).

 

Q: Do I need to purchase a separate ticket for the Helluva Block Party and/or the pregame concert?

A: No. Admission to Helluva Block Party, including Yellow Jacket Alley and the pregame concert, is FREE for all fans in attendance.

 

Q: When do gates open for the football game?

A: Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff (2 p.m. for Sept. 6 vs. Gardner-Webb).

 

Q: What gate should I enter the stadium through?

A: Please refer to your ticket and click HERE for information regarding which gate to enter the stadium through.

 

Q: Are pets allowed at Helluva Block Party?

A: Yes. Pets must be on a leash at all times at Helluva Block Party. Please note that pets will not be allowed into Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field.

 

Q: Are strollers allowed at Helluva Block Party?

A: Yes. Strollers are allowed at Helluva Block Party.  However, please note that strollers will not be allowed into Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field.
