DAYTON, Ohio – Dyshawn Pierre and Jordan Sibert combined for 43 points as Dayton defeated Georgia Tech 75-61 at UD Arena. The Flyers hit 10-of-18 shots from behind the arc, including a perfect night by Pierre on four attempts.

Trailing 39-33 at the half, Georgia Tech used a 6-0 run to cut the Flyers’ lead to a single point, but Dayton responded with a 12-0 run of their own. Marcus Georges-Hunt led the Jackets with 13 points, and freshman Tadric Jackson added 12 off the bench.

Charles Mitchell recorded his third double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The loss dropped Georgia Tech to 8-3 on the season. After a break for Christmas, the Yellow Jackets host Charlotte at McCamish Pavilion on December 30 at 7 p.m.
