Georgia Tech's Chioma Nnamaka Named to ACC All-Rookie Team

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech freshman Chioma Nnamaka was named to the ACC all-Rookie team for the 2004-05 season, as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference office Wednesday afternoon.

The Uppsala, Sweden native earned the honor after finishing the regular season second on the team in scoring (12.8 ppg) and rebounding (4.6 rpg) while standing third in assists (33).

Georgia Tech will be the No. 8 seed in the 2005 ACC Tournament, which begins Friday at 11 a.m. when the Yellow Jackets meet the No. 9 seed, Miami.
