THE FLATS – Georgia Tech, Georgia Tech athletics and the Alexander-Tharpe Fund will host a watch party on Wednesday morning for Tech great Christopher Eubanks’ Wimbledon quarterfinal match versus Daniil Medvedev. The watch party will be held at the Coda Courtyard, located in Tech Square (756 W. Peachtree Street NW).
The party begins at 10 a.m., with Eubanks’ match slated to begin after the conclusion of the women’s quarterfinal between Aryna Sabalenka and Madison Keys, which begins at 8 a.m. ET.
The event is free and open to the public. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at Coda’s Collective Food Hall.
Playing at Wimbledon for the first time, Eubanks advanced to Wednesday’s quarterfinal with a five-set win over world No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas on Monday. Earlier in the tournament, the former Yellow Jacket also knocked off No. 12-seeded Cameron Norrie. Eubanks, who starred at Georgia Tech from 2014-17, is riding a nine-match winning streak, which began with him winning his first-ever ATP Tour title last month at the Mallorca Championships.
