Georgia Tech #SummerJackets Report

THE FLATS – With the first month of the wooden bat summer leagues in the books, a number of #SummerJackets have had great starts to their 2018 summers.

In the Cape Cod League, Tristin EnglishKyle McCannChase Murray and Oscar Serratos are all hitting over .300 at the plate, while on the mound Brant Hurter is 1-0 with a 0.90 ERA over two starts.

Rising redshirt-junior Jonathan Hughes is 1-0 with a 3.21 ERA over three appearances in the Coastal Plain League, while Andy Archer is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA and eight strikeouts over 3.0 innings for the Brookhaven Bucks in the Sunbelt League.

Nick Wilhite is hitting .310 with eight stolen bases for the Bucks, while Kel Johnson has blasted three home runs and driving in nine RBIs in just seven games while returning from an injury for the Norcross Astros in the Sunbelt League.
