THE FLATS – Georgia Tech softball’s game against Georgia State previously scheduled for 5 p.m. on Feb. 23 at Mewborn Field has been shifted up to a 3 p.m. start, as announced by ESPN.
The Yellow Jackets will battle their crosstown foe on The Flats in their first game aired on ACC Network this season. Tech will play in five total games on the linear platform through the year, including four at home. Future opponents for ACC Network games at home include No. 5 Florida State on March 12 at 2 p.m. and Syracuse on March 25 at 5 p.m. and March 27 at 2 p.m. The White and Gold will also be aired on ACC Network when facing Louisville on the road March 20 at 4 p.m.
Off to a 5-0 start this on the year, the Jackets will next hit the road for the first time this season, traveling to the Bulldog Kickoff Classic hosted by Mississippi State Friday through Sunday in Starkville, Miss. Tech will take on the likes of Central Arkansas, Southern Illinois and host Mississippi State in the tournament.
