THE FLATS – On the strength of a 2-0 start, Georgia Tech football is ranked No. 23 nationally in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll, which was released on Tuesday.
Georgia Tech (2-0, 1-0 ACC) is in the AP Top 25 for the first time since it was ranked No. 20 in the poll released on Sept. 20, 2015. The Yellow Jackets earned their first national ranking in nine years with wins over No. 10 Florida State (24-21 in Dublin, Ireland) and Georgia State (35-12) to open the season. The Yellow Jackets are one of five Atlantic Coast Conference teams in this week’s AP Top 25, joining No. 12 Miami (Fla.), No. 22 Louisville, No. 24 NC State and No. 25 Clemson.
The Jackets put their national ranking on the line on Saturday when they travel to Syracuse for an ACC tilt. Kickoff is set for noon at Syracuse’s JMA Wireless Dome and the game will be televised nationally on ACC Network.

Single-Game Tickets
Single-game tickets for Georgia Tech’s four remaining home games at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field in 2024 –Sept. 14 vs. VMI, Oct. 5 vs. Duke, Nov. 9 vs. Miami (Fla.) and Nov. 21 vs. NC State – and a limited number of single-game tickets for the Notre Dame game on Oct. 19 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium are on sale now and can be purchased by clicking HERE.
